Seascape Tissue Paper Rocks in Acrylic

Relaxed and informal lessons for all skill levels. with experienced Oxfordshire based artist Cathryn Jeff BA(hons)

Let loose your inner creativity and at the same time learn how to apply tissue paper and sand to create unusual rock textures.

Inspired from reference images and using acrylics, I will show you step-by-step how you can create an experimental seascape painting by first applying tissue paper in different ways to form textured rock patterns as well as using sand for an additional surface. Learn how to use the paint to enhance the textures with background painting, highlights and even sea spray. You will also learn about compositions, focal points and how to incorporate tone and colour to create a successful experimental painting.
