Born and grew up in Oxfordshire I have had a love for art right from an early age. Following A Level Art I continued to study art and design by attending Banbury Art College and finally a degree at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design in Farnham. Totalling six years of art training.
I enjoy experimenting with all types of mediums such as ink, acrylic, oil and watercolour to create paintings inspired by the beautiful local countryside and seascapes from my travels. The application of the medium is an exciting experience for me. I try different techniques to create interesting marks such as splashes, dripping, masking, dry brushing and fluid paint. I also design and create quirky paper craft pictures with an unusual 3D effect for children.
My work can be found in SOTA gallery in Witney, Oxfordshire. I attend local Art Markets including Broad Street in Oxford as well as participating in Artweeks at Charlbury. I also sell my work on many other internet shops.
Teaching is a great passion of mine too, running informal painting lessons in small evening art groups at home as well as larger day workshops locally throughout the year with the aspiration to inspire others.
My range of unique 3D children's artworks were created from one design that I made for my twins' nursery. After having lovely feedback I decided to develop them further and added them to my collection.
All designs are original and personally designed and handmade by me.
